St. Nikolaos Day 6th of December

St. Nikolaos Day is celebrated on 6th December in the whole of Crete and is the death anniversary of St Nikolas, the saint loved children and so this day is special for children, they all receive special gifts on this day.

Christmas Eve 24th of December

Christmas Eve is much awaited and is celebrated with Christmas songs and carols, young children walk around the neighbourhood singing carols, they also go around on trains and buses singing carols.
